She was predeceased by: her parents, Herminio Ortiz and Nellie Ortiz; and her brother Anthony Ortiz. She is survived by: her husband Mark Herbstritt; her children, Elias "Sonny" Salas (Becky), Joel Salas (Rebeca), Aaron Salas (Monique) and Leticia "Letty" Molina (Andrew); her stepchildren, Taylor Herbstritt and Joseph Herbstritt; and her sisters, Linda Valdespino (Tito Sr.), Debbie Hernandez (Julio) and Lucy Mendez. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
