Ralph L. Erickson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph L. Erickson of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigfried Erickson and Nora Erickson (Englund); his wife Virginia M. Erickson (Flak); his brothers, Tom, Raymond and Roland Erickson; and his sister-in-law Martha Erickson.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Lisa" A. Sorek (Patrick) of Pittsburgh, Eleanor "Ellie" Supinski (Frank) of Erie, Daniel D. Erickson (Anhedred) of Alburquerque, NM and Jennifer M. Bodnar of Ashland, MA; his grandchildren, Douglas, Peter, Gregory (Krista), Julianne Sorek, Kristina Gandrud (Christopher), Allisandra Viera (Ronuel), Meredith Supjewski (Stephen), Sophia Supinski (Eli), Garreth Erickson, James and Brynn Bodnar; and his great grandchildren, Rufus, Nolan Gandrud, Esperanza and Lucelenia Viera.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Philharmonic or Meals on Wheels. Keep Ralph's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
