With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard J. Miehl of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Miehl and Helen Miehl (Freeman); his wife Karen Miehl (Martyna); his daughter-in-law Jody Miehl; and his siblings, Edward Miehl and Mary Miehl.
He is survived by: his sons, Gabriel Miehl (Amy) of Erie and Nickolaus Miehl of Salem; his grandchildren, Davin, Ellery, Freya and Zayda Miehl; his siblings, David Miehl (Diane), Timothy Miehl (Patty), Rosemarie Lester (Jim), Daniel Miehl (Annette), Joann Miller-Miehl and Tony Miehl; and his sister-in-law Eileen Miehl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
