We bid farewell to Robert J. Gottschling of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 7, 2025 at the age of 53. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Ronald K. Gottschling; and his brother Ronald D. Gottschling. He is survived by: his mother Barbara "Bobbie" Puskus Gottschling; his brother Craig Gottschling; his aunts, JoAnn JoJo'Puskus and Eileen Jowett; his nieces, Brooke, Breanna and Brittany; and his cousins, Susan, Beth, Geof, Jackie, Colleen, Amy, Kelley, Kevin, Terre, Heidi, Jim and Joe.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services West Ridge (3801 W 26th St, Erie, PA 16506). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Erie Homes for Children and Adults, 226 E. 27th St., Erie, PA 16504, or to the Barber National Institute Foundation, 100 Barber Place, Erie, PA 16507.
