He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Shepard and Pauline Dougherty Shepard; and his siblings, Bill, Melvin, Rick Shepard and Judy Wasikowski.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Jones Shepard; his children, Alicia Niemenski (Darrell) and Mike Shepard (Cathy); his grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Jersey Niemenski, Matthew and Hannah Shepard; and his sisters, Melody Barczynski, Sandra Shepard and Jackie Posten. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
