It is with sadness that the passing of Sara A. Barrett (Erie, Pennsylvania) is shared. Sara A., born on March 25, 1938, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gerbracht and Sara Gerbracht (Duffy); and her husband Urban Barrett. She is survived by: her children, Beth Corbin (Dan), Timothy Barrett (Linda), Patrick Barrett (Natalie), Rebecca Schneeberger (Peter) and Amy Barrett-Heitzenrater (Douglas); her grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica), Brandon (Mandie), Megan (Matt), Kristin (Christopher), Oliver, Madeline, Nathaniel, Samuel (Erin), Kelly (John), Lindsey, Erin (Devin), Joseph (Anna), Kristopher (Rachel) and Mackenzie (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Brady, Olivia, Alexandria, Tripp, Patrick, Michael, Theodore, Daniel, Madeline, Eliza, Hayden and Mika; and her sister Gretchen Kruse. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory (1595 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16508). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Peace Church (2401 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16506).
