He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Simmer and Norma Simmer; his stepson Dennis Keith Fleming III; and his siblings, Jim Miller (Patti Bartlett), Michelle Simmer and Archie Simmer.
He is survived by: his sons, Dylan Simmer (Sasha Taraski), Richard Gorski and James Gorski; his siblings, Ken Miller, Kathy Miller, Charles A. Simmer Jr. (Alice Simmer), Allen Simmer (Natalie Simmer), Scott Simmer (Tracy Simmer) and Michael Simmer; and his friend Sandy Maul. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Dusckas Funeral & Cremation Services (5151 Buffalo Rd, Erie, PA 16510). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM.
