She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Holmes and June (Morse); her stepfather Victor Ventura; her grandchildren, Emerico DeJesus and Giovanni Lasanta; and her siblings, Teresa Hunter, Robert Holmes Jr. and Cindy Strange.

She is survived by: her children, Jesse Holmes (Kimberly), Tara Holmes, Magdalena Holmes and Tamara Holmes (Devon Christensen); her grandchildren, Brittnay White, Jesse II, Manuel, Maritza DeJesus Holmes, Kiara Holmes, Minetta Holmes, Yevelitz Ruiz, Alejhandro Ruiz, Adriana Holmes, Shadara Roberts, Montelle Roberts, Rahamon Roberts, Salena Lasanta, Xiomara Lasanta and Damarious Lasanta; and her siblings, Wanda Mendez (Albert), Ricky Holmes, Michael Holmes, Tina Fairbanks, Tammy Vargas and Steven Fairbanks (Denise). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
