He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle J. Boyd and Dorothy E. Boyd-Ralph (Eck); his brothers, Richard Boyd and Gary Boyd; and his stepfather Fred Ralph.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Green (Bobby) and Megan Beaton (Rob O'Connell); and his grandsons, Tyler Green, Gavin Green, Jack Beaton and William Beaton. He is also survived by several nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services (602 W 10th St, Erie, PA 16502). The inurnment was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (6248 W Lake Rd, Erie, PA 16505).
