He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. Bechtel and Mary Ann Bechtel (Juzbasic); his daughter Heather M. Bechtel; and his brother George J. Ancheff. He is survived by: his children, Emily J. Bechtel (Anthony Gehman) of Etters and David M. Bechtel, Jr. of Elizabethville; his grandchildren, Tyler Burch, LeAnna M. Collins, Capre Trader and Bradley Moat; and his former wife Shannon Bechtel.
