He was predeceased by: his parents, Zane Cassell and Ella Cassell (Straining); and his wife Donna Cassell (Hershey). He is survived by: his children, Kristi Cassell Burke (William) of Denver and Seth Cassell (Amy) of Halifax; his sisters, Gail Kuntz (William) of Hummelstown, Holly Kauffman (Todd) of Manheim and Patti Whitman of Manheim; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Brady Burke, Zane and Ayla Cassell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Baughman Church (228 Bridge St, New Cumberland, PA 17070).
