He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hockley and Geraldine Hockley (Cook); his son Lynn W. Tiedgen (Lori); and his brothers, Hearlden and Steven Hockley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Hockley (Freet); his children, Cynthia C. Distenfeld (Eric) of Harrisburg, Herbert A. Hockley (Lynne) of Elizabethtown, Gretchen S. Al-Alawneh (Jamil) of Tulsa, OK, Christopher T. Hockley (Julie) of Tucson, AZ and Kendall Barnes of Alta, IA; and his brother Maynard Hockley (Sue) of Mechanicsburg. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
