He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schoeffel, and Helen Schoeffel, Sr. (Mays); his wife Judy Schoeffel (Nicklas); his son Edward J. Schoeffel; and his sister-in-law Becky.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Schoeffel (Amy) and Todd Schoeffel (Jackie); his daughter-in-law Rachel Schoeffel; his granddaughters, Emily O'Leary (Dan), Taylor Schoeffel and Alyssa Schoeffel; his great grandchild Quinn; and his siblings, Patricia Capella, Jim Schoeffel and Tammy Rape (Sam). He is also survived by numerous nieces and their spouses.
