With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Merle Rape of Evans City, Pennsylvania, born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 9, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle R. Rape and Barbara Haddock Rape. He is survived by: his wife Amy Plunkett Rape; his siblings, Tim Rape (Pam) and Linda Erwin (William); and his stepsiblings, Glen Franceschina, Bonnie Snyder (James) and Karen Henderson (Mark).
