Kathryn McGown Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn McGown of Evans City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathryn McGown to pay them a last tribute.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Kathryn leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Salina and Susan Foley Mannison; and her brother Gregg Salina of Butler. She is survived by: her husband Richard McGown; her sons, Brendon Stevenson of Zelienople and Taylor Stevenson of Butler; her stepchild Casie Anderson (Todd) of Stuarts Draft, VA; her son Derrick McGown (Leah) of Ellicott City, MD; and her siblings, Michael Salina of Cabot and Lanie Salina of Butler.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc. (410 W Main St, Saxonburg, PA 16056).
