She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Loyal C. Andrew and Mary A. Andrew; her husband Richard L. Stroup; her children, Sharon Summerville (Mark), Debra Herb (William) and Russell Stroup (Lorraine); her grandchildren, Halee Stroup, Chloee Stroup, Adam Herb, Rory Summerville, Anthony Summerville, Anna Summerville, Robert Summerville, Tanner Summerville, Destiny Summerville, Andrew Summerville and Grace Summerville; her great grandchild Austin; and her brother Thomas Andrew.

Memorial donations can be made to the Butler Humane Society.
