Ruby L. Riddell Detwiler Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 7, 2026, at the age of 76, Ruby L. Riddell Detwiler of Evans City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dea Riddell and Buelah Nagle Riddell; her husband Frank L. Detwiler; her son Shawn Detwiler; and her son-in-law Elmer Beahm.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Beahm Rozic of Evans City, Margaret Boring (James Jr.) of Evans City and Angela Kort (Arthur III) of Evans City; her siblings, Sandra Tacoronte of Youngstown, OH, Linda Garcia of Youngstown, OH and Carl Riddell of Erie; her grandchildren, James III Boring (Britney), Frank Boring (Ashley), Shawn, Zack and Madison Kort; and her great grandchildren, Liliana and Serra Boring. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Ruby will be laid to rest in the Evans City Cemetery The family has suggested memorial donations be made to the Evans City Senior Center.
