She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell W. Smith and Lura Smith (Redinger); her husband Donald W. Bussard; and her siblings, William Smith, Lilly Ruby, Blaine Smith, Etta Roberts, Ralph Smith, Delaphine Ritchey and Donald Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney A. Bussard (Deborah) of Mayodan, NC and Randy A. Bussard (Wanda) of Berlin, PA; her grandchildren, Dustin Bussard, Kelli Corle, Alexis Lewis and Jared Bussard; her great grandchildren, Austin, Chase, Jud, Mac and Evelyn; and her great great grandchildren, Ella and Colton Bussard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Akers Funeral Home (299 Raystown Rd, Everett, PA 15537). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ella to the Everett Church of the Brethren, Gentiva Hospice or the Dementia Society of America.
