It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Shumaker of Everett, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Shawn departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shawn. Though Shawn may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his parents, Fred H. Shumaker of Somerset and Martha M. Miller (Earl Miller, Jr.) of Everett; his daughter Elizabeth Dawn Shumaker; his grandchildren, Luna and Skylynn; his grandmothers, Isabell Shumaker and Beverly Kabina; and his siblings, Fred Shumaker (Christy) and Brandi Leasure (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
