With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris L. Smith of Everson, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Brown Jr. "H. B." and Eva Mae Cunningham (Shallenberger); her husband Arthur F. "Yuckie" Smith; her son Michael F. Smith; her great grandchild Dodge Aaron Christner; and her grandparents, Byron, Margaret Marie Shallenberger (Layton), Harry B. Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Cunningham (McGinnis).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Christner (Russell) of Everson, Anita Smith of Everson, Alexis Prinkey of Everson, Deanna McFadden (Clair) of Pennsville, Deidre Cyphert of Scottdale and Derek Smith (Sue Grantz) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Eric Christner, Stacey Christner (Shane Radacovich), Randy Christner (Tess), April Rowan (Brian), Patrick Smith, Zach Smith, Jeremiah DeShetler (Amy), Rosanna Bucco, Caleb McFadden (Erin Colgan), Seth McFadden, Alesia McFadden, Carissa Cyphert (Dru Miller), Lindsey Hardsock (Cody), Madison Cyphert (Jerry Gales), Jacob Prinkey (Isabella Hixson) and Anthony Calabrace; her great grandchildren, Chase, Cody Christner, Kayden Hernley, Navy Christner, Brian, Steven Rowan, Ethan, Caitlin DeShetler, Aiden McFadden and Oliva Stearns; and her siblings, Anna Mary Yoder of Scottdale, Nelda Matheny of Scottdale, Roy B. Cunningham (Gush) of Mt. Pleasant and Charles Cunningham of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
