He was predeceased by: his wife Renate (Heinze); his parents, Charles A. Walker and Dorothy M. Walker (Clemmer); and his brothers, Jan and Todd.
He is survived by: his daughter Erica Weaver (Walker); his close friend Jay Gaugler; his grandchildren, Joshua (Andrea), Melissa (Alexander), Brett (Jennifer), Kirsten (Andrew) and Bailey (Makayla); and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Lanna, Brayden, Trinitie, Griffin, Grayson, Ryker, Aspen, Chase, Allaire and Colby.
