It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evangeline McGowan of Exeter Township, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Robert H. McGowan; her parents, Anastasios Katzos and Helen Katzos (Chincha); and her siblings, Ignatius (Estelle Kageos) and Despina (Samuel Nigrelli).
She is survived by : her children, Elaine M. Shunk (Kim) and David R. McGowan (Sherry); her grandchildren, Maria K. Kriebel (Cory), Kristen M. Sterner, Bryant W. Shunk, Benjamin D. McGowan (Keri) and Evangelia J. Movahed (Ramin); and her great grandchildren, Nikolaos, Eleni, Xristos, Elliana, Bryson and Ariana.
