He was predeceased by: his wife Doris M. (Focht); his parents, Allen Weaver and Reba Weaver (Harsh); and his brothers, Harold and Donald.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy L. Zyla (Steve J. Zyla) of Harrisburg and Michelle L. Smith (Daniel M. Smith); his grandchildren, Devon, Cory, Tyler, Nicholas, Allyson and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Leah and Benny; and his siblings, Patricia Ream of East Petersburg, Dawn Styer of New Holland, Wilma McCann (David McCann) of Lancaster, Betty Schwartz of Melbourne, Bruce Weaver (Edith Weaver) of Quarryville and Elaine Cline of Gastonia.
Viewing was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bean Funeral Homes- Exeter Township (6 Fairlane Rd, Reading, PA 19606). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mr. James E. Weaver.
