She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel H. Focht and Grace M. Focht (Demming); and her son Donald S. Miller. She is survived by: her husband Walter R. Smithson III of Exeter; her children, Gregory A. Miller (Kelley), Kenneth R. Smithson (Barbara), David S. Smithson and Tammy L. (John Germain); and her sister MaryJane Van Ord of Newport, NH.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
