She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas P. Ertel; her parents, John J. Eiler and Theresa Frances Eiler (Wolff); her granddaughter Lauren; and her brother George Eiler.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah L. Hartman (Michael S. Hartman) of Sinking Spring, William J. Ertel (Greta L. Ertel) of Shoemakersville and Donna L. Wolf (Michael S. Wolf) of Lincoln Park; her grandchildren, Taylor, Kyle, Kelsey, Christen and Emma; and her great grandchildren, Vada, Henry, Oliver, Roman and Mary Rose.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church (4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lifeline of Berks County 2427 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, PA 19606, in memory of Mrs. Marian L. Ertel.
