Nancy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Nancy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Nancy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Verdone and Sophia Verdone (Barna). She is survived by: her husband Richard Nardy; her sisters, Constance Judith "Judy" Smith (Verdone) of New Jersey and Brenda Thren (Larry Thren) of Oley; and her sister-in-law Anne Tirdell (Nardy). She is also survived by five nieces and five nephews; and her many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church (151 N 9th St, Reading, PA 19601). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church (151 N 9th St, Reading, PA 19601).
