He was predeceased by: his spouse Gail K. Wheatley (Kaufmann); his parents, Alonzo M. Wheatley and Alice E. Wheatley (Jackson); his son Thomas T. Wheatley; and his brother Charles Wheatley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Suzanne K. Ayers and Kimberly A. Dymecki; and his sister Virginia D. Robb. He is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
