She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Saylor and Juletta Saylor; her husband Rev. Robert C. Steele (Bob); her daughter Barbara Marker; and her siblings, Helen McMichael, Clyde Saylor, Bryce Saylor and Marian Huber.

She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Saylor and Mary Clare of Altoona, PA; her children, Suzann Murphy (Frank) of Philippi, WV, Randall Steele (Janise) of Export, PA, Ronald Steele (Jeri) of Forest, VA and Patricia Goddard (Michael) of Austin, TX; her son-in-law Duane Marker of Coral Springs, FL; her stepson Edward Martinella of Jeannette, PA; and her grandchildren, Elise Neal (Ryan), Colin Murphy, Amanda Bank (Rob), Michael Steele (Katie), Kelly Thomas (Tim), Natalie Goddard, Loren Goddard and Gemma Morris (Charles). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
