The memory of Helen M. Opsitnick of Export, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 99, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Biesuz and Maria Biesuz (Casagrande); her significant other Stephen Opsitnick, Sr.; her great grandchild Kameron Forbes; and her siblings, John Biesuz, George Biesuz, Eli Biesuz, Esther Skandera, Mary Merich, Della Peters and Aldo Calder.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Opsitnick, Jr. (Jenn); her great grandchild Lucas Greba (Matt); her great great grandchildren, Haven and Emery Greba; her sisters-in-law, Silvia Opsitnick and June Opsitnick; her niece Carlotta Thatcher; and also Miya Perkins. She is also survived by many nieces nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wolfe-Von Geis Funeral Home (5701 Lincoln Ave, Export, PA 15632). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Our Lady of Lourdes Church (5900 Kennedy Ave, Export, PA 15632).
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Helen's name to the Export Volunteer Fire Department New Truck Fund, 5815 Washington Ave., Export, PA 15632.
