He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Whitey" Merwin and Balinda Merwin (Kane); and his sons, Sean and Joshua Merwin. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Merwin (Delahanty); his son Jason Merwin; and his grandson Shane Merwin.
