He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Groth and Helen Groth (Glunt); his siblings, Donald, Fred and Geraldine Drakulic; and his brother-in-law Arthur Pignocco.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Groth (Pignocco) of Jeannette; his children, Rebecca Miller of Murrysville, Richard Groth (Heidi) of Lebanon Twp, NJ and Susan Pitzer (Rick) of Jeannette; his brother Randall Groth of Swissvale; his sister-in-law Joyce Pignocco of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Katie (Noah), Luke, Camryn, Ricky, Matthew, Christian, Kasen and Peyton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. (201 N 1st St, Jeannette, PA 15644). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ascension Church (615 Division St, Jeannette, PA 15644). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Twin Valley Memorial Park (483 Athena Dr, Delmont, PA 15626-1299).
