He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brinker and Mary Brinker (Long); his daughter Sharon Kontor; and his siblings, Margaret "Peg" McQuaide, Helen "Boots" Hill, Milton Brinker and Donald Brinker.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Brinker (March); his children, Susan Brett, Jim Brinker (Karen) and Rob Brinker; his grandchildren, Chase (Jenn), Michael (Haley), Jason and Josh; and his great grandchildren, Maria and Amelia. He is also survived by numerous in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
