With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alexander J. Marchel of Factoryville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Jasko and Alexander John Marchel Sr.; his former wife Anne Laureen Wojcak; his son-in-law Christopher Zuranski; and his sister Constance Zduniak.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ann Seeger; his children, Alexandria Zuranski (Sandy) of Factoryville, PA and Alex J Marchel III (Georgia Stavropoulous) of Owego, NY.; his sister Maryann Estock; and his pet Saylor.
