She was predeceased by: her husband George Brown; her parents, Arthur Champlin and Ida Fisher Champlin Phillips; her son-in-law John F. Hayos, Jr.; and her sisters, Vera Adams and Doris Nay.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hayos of Factoryville and David Brown (Kimberli) of Factoryville; her grandchildren, Nicole Hayos-Tyler (Michael), Kyle Hayos (Ashley), Jennifer Brown (Adam Schaub), David Brown (Stephanie Burnham) and Cassandra Holsopple (Lucas); her great grandchildren, Eira Hayos, Susanna Holsopple and Colter John Hayos; her stepgreat-grandsons, Danny Greco, Matthew, Kevin Tyler and Victor Pellew; and her brother Edmund Champlin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
