She was predeceased by: her parents, David P. McManus and Evelyn M. McManus (Wilhelm); her husband Uriel Paul Utz; and her sister Patricia C. Tidman. She is survived by: her children, Brenda L. Sherwood, Mark A. (Joy Lynn Utz), D. Scott (Dawn M. Utz) and Jennifer L. (Jenna Aubert-Utz); her caregivers, Darlene and Melanie; Doc Jim and Mary Lou Hammett. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support the Maryland Troopers Association, Fairfield Fire and EMS or the ASPCA.
