It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Leo Adelsberger of Fairfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dwen and Adele Mae Adelsberger (Wood); his wife Constance Marie Adelsberger; his son John Cabot Adelsberger; and his siblings, James, Joseph, Francis, Eugene, Alice Dunn (Adelsberger), Jane Streets (Adelsberger), Martina Mooney (Adelsberger), Adele Engel (Adelsberger) and Ann Fleischman (Adelsberger).
He is survived by: his children, Natalie Ann Adelsberger of Fairfield, PA and Mark Eric Adelsberger of Fairfield, PA; and his grandchildren, Leanne, Tara, Chad and Alexis. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (210 W Main St, Emmitsburg, MD 21727). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
