He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Royer Brown and Emma Virginia Brown (Wetzel); and his close friend Susan Sanders. He is survived by : his sister Charlotte Nusbaum; his children, Jennifer Buchheister (Raymond) and Michael Brown; his grandchildren, Becca Corbell, Elizabeth, Matthias and Luke Buchheister; his former life partner Becky (Chrismer); and also, Denise Valentine, Allyson Rohrbaugh and Parker Rohrbaugh.
