He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Sr. Costello and S. Madeline Costello (Hillegas); his stepparents, Walter "Spike" Singer and Naomi Costello; his wife Edith Delores Rowe; and his brother Marlin Costello.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Shue (Ken), Roy Costello (Annalee), Gary Costello (Christine), Ruth Boyer (Steve), Dana Costello and Dona Murtha; his grandchildren, Mandy Oswalt, Sonya Keifer, Ashley Costello, Christine Hinkley (Rob), Shane Boyer (Cassidy), Stephen Boyer, Jr. (Lindsey) and Sarah Murtha; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Sherle (Jerry). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.
