He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bowman and Viola Bowman (Landis); his brothers, Luther and Sheldon Bowman; and his brother-in-law Herb Long.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Long; his brother Clifford Bowman; his nieces and nephews, Peg Shuck (Chuck), Jim, Rodney, Craig Bowman (Sylvia), Deb McKenzie (Dave), Cindy Heselbach (Kevin), Megan Wilson (Bryan), Melissa, Matt, Chad (Nicole), Todd (Rachel), Carrie, Brenden (Ilsa), Darnell, Kelsey, Derrick, Janelle, Jordan Long, Christina Sines (Andy) and Kendra Inea (Ike); his siblings-in-law, Tom (Barb), Wayne (Paula), Dave, Owen Long (Cindy) and Susie Long; and his close friends, Roy and Lana Vena.
