He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Policano and Madeline Policano of Matthew's Catholic School; his wife Susan L. Policano; and his brother Vincent Policano. He is survived by: his children, Robert M. Policano, Albert V. Policano, Jennifer S. Ellis, Daniel J. Policano (Nicole) and Julie A. Policano (Chris Freed); his sister Rosie Filipone; and his grandchildren, Sabrina, Joey, Michael, Madeline, Joseph, Charlotte, Angelina, James, Nathan, Filip and Cora.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saint Jude the Apostle Church.
