He was predeceased by: his parents, Relton Michael and Gertrude McGinnis Michael; and his siblings, Esther Long, Roy, Dewitt, Dean, Charles Michael and Joyce Snow.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy L. Rottman Michael; his children, David J. "Jeff" Michael (Jami), Dennis W. Michael (Barbara), Charlene Kepple (Bill) and LeEtta Swigart (Harley); his grandchildren, Billie Jo Nagel (Chad), Joshua Michael, Angela Michael, Brian Michael, Ashley Ciafre (Derec), Laura Blazejewski (Brian), Wesley Kepple and Chanc Swigart; and his great grandchildren, Troy, Zac Nagel, Lane, Hope Michael, Annie, Jana, Cara LaMarche, LeLynn Swigart, Mila, Finley and Mateo Ciafre. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a brother in law.
