She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. McElroy and Helen E. Vail McElroy; her sister Lois McElroy; her sons-in-law, Charles Robert Neal and Lundy L. Neely; and her cousin Ann McElroy.
She is survived by: her brother Col. Robert L. McElroy; her sister-in-law Mary; and her children, Beth Neely of Dayton, Vail Neal of Nashville and John McElroy "Jay" Geer (Cheryl "Cheri") of Southport, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; three nieces, and many friends.
