She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Turner DeVault (Gildroy) and Grant Turner; her stepfather Frank DeVault; her husband Stanley Sumey "Pete"; her son Douglas Leroy Sumey; and her brothers, Robert "Red" Turner and Thomas Turner.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Ann Wolfe (Stan Wolfe) of Markleysburg; her grandsons, Stanley Wolfe Jr. (Sara) of Belair, MD, Michael Cesarino of Uniontown and Chad Sumey (Kayla) of East Millsboro, PA; her great grandchildren, Irie, Jake Wolfe of Belair, MD, Douglas and Colby Sumey; her sister Mary Lou Bates of Zeigler, IL; and her daughter-in-law Linda Malaspino of Markleysburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
