She was predeceased by: her parents, Friedrich Birkholz and Anna Birkholz (Seitz); and her son Mark Werner. She is survived by: her husband Karl H. Werner; her sons, Michael and Eric Werner; her grandchildren, Heather, Heidi, Wayne, Edward and Karl; and her siblings, Manfred Birkholz and Gretel Kramer. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
