He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Odem and Veola Odem (Halloway); his wife Sarah Fuller; his daughters, Tina M. Odem and Theresa J. Odem; and his siblings, Thelma Odem-Scales, John L. Odem, James Odem, Samuel D. Odem, Tommie L. Odem, Ed Odem, Jr., Theodore Odem, Billie W. Odem, Martha Jean Odem-Higgens and Gloria Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy A. Odem-Burns (Samuel), Timothy L. Odem (Mavis), Willie F. Odem (Tammy), Ruth M. Odem and Derrick A. Odem (Holly); and his sister Elnora Odem-Laney. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. of Sharon (1090 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
