She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald C. Lawson and Bennie Lawson (Mott). She is survived by: her husband James Adair Sr.; her children, Deborah Roberson (Bobby), Dale K. Adair (Ona), Brian Adair, Sr. (Karen) and Mia Forman (Kevin); her sisters, Harriet Shephard and Jessie Morgan; her children, Pamela Adair-West, James Adair, Jr. and Jeffrey Adair; her grandsons, John Wiley West and John Vegas West; her great grandchildren, Edward Lee Roberson III and Olivia Grace Roberson; and her siblings, Nancy Phillips, Donald Lawson, Jr., Joseph Lawson and Albert Lawson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Beginnings Christian Fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests material donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Helen K. Adair, as a testament to her compassionate spirit.
