She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin M. Linkous; her parents, Hugh S. Wales and Steele Wales (Gibney); and her siblings, Gladys Wales, Gardner, Weldon and Harold Wales.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn S. Preston of Bel Air, MD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care (19 S Main St, Stewartstown, PA 17363). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Fawn Grove Cemetery -Fawn Grove (67 S Market St, Fawn Grove, PA 17321).
