He was predeceased by: his parents, James Parkhill and Imogene Parkhill; his stepgrandchild Sgt. Vinson; his son Gary; and his sister Barbara.

He is survived by: his wife Martina; his son Eric Parkhill (Lisa); his stepchildren, Lisa, Michele (Vinson) and Nicole (Shawn); his grandchildren, Matt, Danny, Beth Ann and Lee; his stepgrandchildren, Nicklas, Roman, Rayna, Isaac and Julia; his great grandchild Lincoln; his niece Hollie; and his nephews, Thomas and Jason.
