He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Stuart and Margaret Stuart (Gunning); his son Michael Stuart; and his brothers, William Stuart, Allan Wells and Jack Hazel.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Stuart (Miller); and his children, Sharon Stuart, Brian Stuart and Kathleen Anastasi. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
