She was predeceased by: her parents, James V. Shepard, Jr. and Betty J. Daywalt Shepard; her husband Gerald Beecher; and her sisters, Louise Smetzer, Linda Shepard and Mary Daywalt.
She is survived by: her siblings, James V. Shepard III (Linda) of South Mountain, PA, Sara Bleecher (Donnie) of Lancaster, PA, Laura Wagaman of Winchester, VA and William Shepard of Biglerville, PA; and her niece Amy Smetzer (Ed Richardson) of Fayetteville, PA. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
